The lindroni /ˈlɪndroʊni/ is a black and grey stranger characterized by its vivid blue eye markings, as well as the prominent red lip markings on the back of its head. It possesses two to four sets of tapered appendages behind a pair of slender arms, which it uses to aid its slithering locomotion. Both sweet and acrid, the lindroni's odor is neither strong nor unpleasant, but instead, carries with it a sugary allure. Its pinkish mouth contains many sharp and almost translucent teeth, as well as several knotted, tangled tongues, which drip saliva in copious streams. It has a ridged pocket at the back of its throat, which expands inward as needed to act as the lindroni's "stomach".
The soft and pink inner flesh oozes a white, creamy fluid when pressed or cut. Possessing a slow regenerative ability, it takes several days to heal from even minor nicks and punctures, with more severe injuries taking months to repair.
It is warm to the touch.ƾ
ƾ What he means is, it feels good to the touch.
The lindroni's lively voice is youthful, bashful, and soprano in pitch. It possesses no language, and speaks instead through giggles and wordless moans.ȴ
ȴ He won't say it, but, it sounds like it's enjoying itself.
The lindroni appears in parking garages and other spacious non-residential locales with dim lighting and harsh, cement surfaces. It prefers underground environments, and generates outdoors only 4% of the time. It fades into view as a black cloud of swirling smoke, which ebbs and flows, coalescing more with each twist and turn. As it coagulates, its pleasured laughter fills the air with the sense of impending delight, until the stranger's body solidifies, and it can be considered mature.
The lindroni's disposition is coy and teasing, and it displays a general air of amatory bliss toward itself and its surroundings. When it moves, it pulls itself along with undulating, twining motions, its head rolling from side to side, and when at rest, it curls and coils upon itself, salivaɦ flowing down onto its skin.
ɦ You always knew there was something like this. You always saw what was going on...
But you didn't want to say, did you?
As though captivated by tactile sensations, the lindroni shudders as it runs its long, rubbery fingers and palms across nearby surfaces as it slithers between rows of cars and around support columns. It sometimes stops to "admire" itself in the rear-view mirrors of a parked car, or whimpers with quiet joy as its fingers slip into open gas tanks.

A social stranger, groups of lindroni laugh and coo amongst themselves, mimicking the behaviour of children gossiping on the playground. Despite its gregarious attitude, however, the lindroni possesses a violent and unpredictable temper. Groups have a tendency to turn on the weakest individual at the smallest of social infractions; ripping the skin apart, pulling teeth, and stringing the guts across the ground. Lindroni always gouge out the eye and lip markings of their victimized companions, and stuff trash and other debris into the open wounds, before the group abandons the group and returns to its usual cooing.
The lindroni is a predatory stranger which preys nearly exclusively on post-pubescent sensitives. It seeks out males 99.8% of the time, approaching them with a hungry expression on its face, its mouth salivating and its hands held out in front of it. Once it is close enough, it grabs its victim while it forces its tongue into their mouth; its nectar-like saliva acts as a powerful sedative and hallucinogen, and causes sensitives who ingest it to grow docile and accepting. While they are
under the influence of this nectar, the lindroni toys with its captive by rubbing its hands along their body, licking their face, or suckling their hands or feet. The lindroni enjoys inducing physical arousal in captured male victims, and always attempts to engage in this behaviour.
The lindroni's physical exploration of its captive continues for anywhere from ten minutes to several hours, after which it grows bored and either snaps the victim's neck or swallows them alive. When consumed in this way, sensitives are always eaten whole, and are never cut or mangled. Devoured sensitives are transformed into a gelatin-like substance over a period of several days. In the days following consumptionδ of a sensitive, the lindroni's nectar greatly increases in potency.
δ We were the lucky ones, to receive such a blessing, I reminded myself, as those tongues wrapped around my neck. It didn't hurt one bit. In fact, it felt perfect...

Groups of lindroni hunt together, congregating in a circle around their captured prey. Although they do fight over possession of their captive, these fights are never rough enough to cause physical damage to the victim's body, and the lindroni appears to be repulsed by the presence of blood. These bloodied wounds can occasionally prove advantageous to the would-be prey, with the stranger's revulsion allowing escape.
it's too good to be real
it's the perfect "look"...

The lindroni preys on women only 0.2% of the time, and it treats female sensitives much differently than it does its male victims. Instead of stroking them and devouring them whole, the lindroni first strangles them, then tears them apart (with brutal ferocity) and toys with the corpse, leaving it in a defacedɞ and mangled condition.
ɞ In these instances, the revulsion of blood is not observed.
Although the lindroni is stronger than most human beings, its soft flesh, sluggish locomotion, and dulled regenerative ability leave it vulnerable to attack by those sensitives able to resist its saliva's sedativeⱢ properties. The effect of the lindroni's nectar appears linked to attraction towards women, and thus, homosexual and asexual male sensitives display increased resistance to the nectar's effect. Hypothetically, this nectar would also affect homosexual women, as well, although the lindroni does not tend to force ingestion in its female victims.
Ɫ you'll even feel good, when it happens.
as the gravel still scratches your skin up.
The lindroni displays no interest in children. While it does retaliate when attacked, it does not seek them out, and turns its head and moves away from any who approach.
Uh oh, if you're a straight guy, don't fall for this predatory stranger's allure! This stranger has a lot to learn about consent. You might be able to outrun it pretty easily, but if it gets its tongue in your mouth, you'll get too high to fight back – and that's when you die! It doesn't seem interested in women, but do you want to chance it? Kids should really avoid it too.
danger rating: these lips can kill
As the lindroni ages, its colors grow desaturated and mottled, while its physical deforms and grows thin. The lindroni itself displays a great deal of distress at these changes, and breaks any nearby mirror – as though denying its withering form. Groups of lindroni, expectedly, turn against their aging companion – first exiling them from the group, and then overpowering and mutilating the offender. The lindroni does not die of natural causes, and even a solitary lindroni will grind its body against sharp corners or yank out its own flesh to expedite its death. Death comes with a milky pooling, and it corpse rots and grows moldy, like old fruit. After several days, the remaining flesh liquifies into grey slush, and leaves behind only the faint smell of sugar.
