The xoridane is yet another strain whose hypothetical details are chronicled with extensive fervor in the scores upon scores of journals which would form the bedrock for a decade of hypno-crown research. And, in this regard, the missing body is of no regard. Because the gaps between itself and its fellow strains could still be measured, its frequency could thus be recorded and embedded into the emergent hypno-crown's low-wave generators.
Compared to its parent strain, the xoridane bore more (if smaller) eye markings (mostly on its back), and it lolled its head in ravelous worvels as it glid. The strain, as a whole, sought high ceilings with a crescending lightfall and an echoing ring – a tendency towards the holy and profane that, with some irony, would sentence it to the flood's earliest rushes.
This same twisted humor cannot be lost in the lineage of these spaces themselves, whose resonant pillar-gaps were later host to the hypno-camps where the xori-derived cyclo-interference crowns were tested among the captive subjects, whose subsequent daze did not disturb the silence.

Wow, another xoridromel substrain..? the subject seems almost stunned, and turns the image over and over, their hands no longer shaking.
But I don't really...I don't really feel comfortable talking too much more about this one. There's so much I could say, of course, but...it's too personal. If there is someone out there who remembers those days, it could bring up...the subject's posture stiffens, then slouches. there is a long period of silence. Those days...we were all in pain.
I guess on a lighter note...it was always hard to figure out how to get the taller strains to fit into those horizontal canvases without a ton of empty space. We never did settle on a perfect solution.
the subject appears transfixed.
Oh, maybe if we'd turned it vertically, and then we could put the metadata on the side...
the subject continues to scrutinize the image, as though hoping to change it.
