The vigourandi (/.vɪgʊəʳˈɹændi:/) is a long, white and light grey stranger with a black band around its head, black feet, and x'd-out eye markings. Its short limbs trail behind a body that is streaming, slim and flexible, and not unlike a fleshy rubber-fabric in texture.
Though relatively durable, the vigourandi cannot heal from physical injuries. When the stranger's skin is cut open, its inner muscles are at first slick and muscular, if watery and "thinner" than human or animal flesh. Further physical friction, however, causes a remarkable effluence of brackish bubbles, which, themselves, froth and spume more with even the slightest touch. This foam subsides after roughly sixteen minutes, settling to a "water" that, itself, evaporates to air more with each breath.
Its voice is no different from a human being's, with its language being sing-song and alliterative.
The vigourandi is a more-or-less "industrial" strain that finds its home within the "convalescent gaps" formed by exposed brick walls, meatpacking factory lot corners, and discard-bagscaught up in chain link fence. There, it first appears in the air at a height nohigher than the average adult shoulder-height, its tightly-coiledform expanding outwards as it twists and grows.
Within the bounds
of the website's narrative, the vigourandi first appears during an encounter that takes place within the bounds of North Mural's long-abandoned "McWexy's warehouse" once-club stretch of lots.
With little of its Module 2 entry remaining
(or having been documented at all), the
vigourandi's disposition cannot be inferred.
Bound to passivity, it drifts at the whim of the
winds, its body twisting in a loose ever-spiral.
It seems like it wishes nothing more than –
-with the vigourandi's role in the development of the fourth prototype hypno-crown acting as its imminent legacy, and the strain's details remaining, at present, unexplored outside of peripheral notes and outside speculation.
